2-year statute of limitations for personal injury with discovery rule. California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) and Unfair Competition Law (UCL) provide additional causes of action. California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act (2022) imposes additional obligations on platforms regarding children's data and design. Discovery rule starts when the family discovered or should have discovered the connection between the platform and the child's harm.
