Statute of Limitations
New Jersey has a 2-year statute of limitations for personal injury and product liability claims (N.J.S.A. 2A:14-2). For minor victims, N.J.S.A. 2A:14-2.1 tolls the SOL during minority — child has until age 20 (18 + 2 years) to file independently. New Jersey has no statute of repose for product liability claims against manufacturers.
